Architectural office STVAR, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It was founded in 2005 by winning the public call for the project of the Central Library in the city of Celje. By successfully realising the project, a team of architects, engineers and flexible outside specialists formed, capable of mastering the complete process of building engineering and project implementation of the most challenging public buildings to the details of interior design for private clients. The work of the office led by architects Ales Vodopivec and Marko Smrekar is based on critical approach, responsible relations and consistent implementation. Among recent major realisations is the construction of the Nordic Ski Centre Planica and one of the most important ongoing projects is the olympic swimming resort in Radovljica.
